Toronto based musician and overall ‘Coole’ guy Chris Coole is all that and more. He reached out looking for an illustration for his 2022 solo release entitled The Old Man and the C Chord, a spoof on Ernest Hemingway’s The Old Man and the Sea. Chris didn’t give any specifics regarding the concept, apart from it sharing some similarities to past versions of the book cover, and my first thought was “I HAVE to draw the Marlin jumping in a C shape!”
