Bluegrass Pride is an organization based out of the US who are constantly pursuing new avenues through which to provide more opportunities for the musical and professional development of LGBT bluegrassers, and for community development within the bluegrass scene. In June of 2020, they held their first digital concert festival, bringing “the spirit of Bluegrass Pride right to your front porch.” They came up with the idea of having a close-up porch display with instrument headstocks growing out of a flower box, and how convenient that there’s exactly one bluegrass instrument for every Pride colour!
